About ME
Hi – I’m Chris and I firmly believe that there’s an epidemic of 65+ men rolling over and playing dead… instead of living this chapter of their lives with vigor! Sound familiar? I’ve spent the last 40 years teaching in a college classroom. Now that retirement is here – I have a choice. I can live out the rest of my days sitting around, watching TV, ruled by boredom and lack of fulfillment. OR I can take full advantage of the next season and live out my God-given purpose:
To help older guys who desire, in this stage of life, to live with more vigor, and higher physical and mental health!

01
Physical
We are a group of mature men who are determined to prioritize our physical health. We have reached a stage in life where we realize the importance of staying active and maintaining our well-being supporting and motivating each other along the way. We believe a holistic approach to physical health is crucial. Physical activity, proper nutrition, and mental well-being are all interconnected. We will begin or continue our life journey by engaging in regular exercise realizing that it’s never too late to start. We will choose activities that suit our preferences and physical abilities, understanding that consistency is the key. We will focus on exercises that improve our muscle strength, flexibility, stamina, and agility. We will become more nutritionally aware and will make conscious choices to fuel our bodies with wholesome foods and we will find joy in challenging ourselves and celebrating each other’s progress. We will see improvements in our physical health but also experience a newfound zest for life. We will find more energy, better sleep, and a positive outlook in our lives.
02
Mental
As mature men, each with unique life experiences and backgrounds, we understand the significance of mental well-being in leading a fulfilling and balanced life. We also recognize that mental health is not something to be ignored or stigmatized but rather a vital aspect of overall well-being. We will offer support and understanding to one another and create a space where we can openly discuss our mental health challenges without judgment, fostering an environment of compassion, awareness, and empathy. We will also focus on building resilience and coping strategies by working through stress management techniques, Bible study, and mindful practices. We recognize the importance of social connections both within our own community and beyond. We will organize social activities, gatherings, and outings, where we can connect and share similar interests and experiences.
03
Emotional
We are a group of mature men who recognize the importance of nurturing our emotional well-being. We have reached a stage in life where we understand that emotional health plays a significant role in our overall happiness and quality of life while we also recognize that we can openly discuss our emotions and challenges without judgment to tune in to our inner selves. This will help us to understand our strengths, weaknesses, and triggers. As mature men, we embrace the power of healthy relationships by surrounding ourselves with positive and supportive individuals who uplift our spirits.
04
Spiritual
We are a group of mature men who approached our Christian faith with unwavering dedication and a desire for spiritual growth. We recognize that our faith is an integral part of our identity and plays a paramount role in shaping our values and purpose. We will form a Christian fellowship, coming together regularly for Bible study and discussion. Through open dialogue and sharing insights, we will encourage each other, fostering a sense of unity and collective spiritual growth. We embrace a consistent and personal prayer life. We understand that prayer is not merely a ritual but a profound way to nurture a relationship with our living God and find strength in our faith.
